Her Town

Short Documentary Film

Her Town is a personal passion project for me, as it tells the story of the Hermann Volleyball program, a legacy that is very close to my heart. As a former Hermann High School student, I was lucky enough to be a part of this incredible volleyball community, playing on the team and even winning my own championship title. The program has been a source of pride for the town for over 40 years, and I always knew I wanted to tell its story.

Years later, while working in film production, I realized that I had the opportunity to turn this dream into a reality. I pitched the idea to my production partners, and they immediately saw the potential in this little-known local sports story. As a lead producer on this project, I have poured my heart and soul into every aspect of its development. I have been a guiding force on this project from the concept phase, through principle production and onto post. It has been a labor of love, and I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished so far.

It has been an honor to work alongside my team to capture the incredible history and legacy of the Hermann Volleyball program, and I am so excited to share it with the world through this documentary. We are currently in midst of post-production, and I cannot wait to see this project come to fruition and for audiences to experience the story of my hometown in all its glory.
