Cattle Calling is an inspiring documentary series that offers an intimate look at the lives, challenges, and triumphs of modern-day cattle ranchers across the United States. As one of the lead producers and casting directors on this project, I played a crucial role in discovering and selecting the cast for each episode, ensuring that their stories resonated with our audience. From pre-production to principle production of episodes one and two, I was involved in every aspect of the series' development. Our team pitched the series to the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA), aiming to bring the stories of American ranchers to the forefront and raise awareness about their vital role in feeding the world. Additionally, we focus on showcasing the sustainability efforts that these cattle ranchers are implementing into their operations, highlighting their commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring the longevity of their business. Episode one and two premiered in 2023 at the Heritage Fire Festival.
